Holy $hit. Outstanding! You were right on your show, I'll be doing tacos this way from now on.

THE best taco recipe I've ever seen.

They are hot will cut back on pepper's will do one next time rather than 2 and will also cut the beef broth in half .Had too much broth left after cooking .I used twice the meat that this call's for with same amount of everything else and it was still great but very hot and I love spicy food ...Will never eat short rib taco's out again this is a great base recipe .Will try this in a toasted roll and but some provolone cheese on top bet that would be great too ...

I seen this show and new I had to try this recipe. I had recently watched the Mexican made easy show and wanted to try the Rajas, so I decided to make these two dishes, minus the jarred roasted peppers, at the same time. I instantly fell in love with the combination. This has moved up to my number one favorite recipe. Thank you for this and please bring on more flavorful dishes.

I saw this episode and immediately decided to try it. Unfortunately, I did not have beef, I had pork, but knowing that it really didn't matter, I went ahead and used it. I also did not have chipotles but did have other peppers and a dash of habanero infused oil for heat. I stuck it in the oven and OMG!!! It was so tender and flavorful...I love BDH. I think the recipes are down to earth and Aaron makes the cooking look so easy I was able to pull it off even though I didn't have the exact ingredients. I came out with a delicious meal and since it's just me I was able to pig out on the meat for days. On my next shopping trip I bought chipotles and cannot wait to use this as a base to entertain for friends and family (I'm gonna try the short ribs-yum!.

We made the meal and had very little left over, so we all wanted it. The next time we doubled the recipe, as the meat was fantastic!

We made the short ribs tonight as well as the empanadas, and O.M.G. they were amazing. I highly recommend making them! Aaron is amazing and cooks with such energy and enthusiasm. The short ribs literally fell apart. We didn't even have to shred them; they were so moist and yummy.

My family loves short ribs. These were the best that we've ever eaten. Bob, I believed that they were beef.

I hosted some foodies tonight and all were totally impressed. I added sliced avocado as well as sour cream and we poured the leftover sauce on top of the tacos for extra flavor... they were perfect. It's great for dinner parties because you can make it ahead of time. Thank you!

I've made this several times now and it's great. The only thing I had is some harissa for extra heat. Easy and great! Thanks Big Daddy!!
