I made these for the super bowl & they were a big hit! I had people from ages 6-69 eating them! I am not a big blue cheese fan but absolutely loved the dressing!!! It was not over powering at all. I think next time I will use plain cheddar instead of sharp & add just a little more hot sauce. It was awesome!!! My husband is not a chicken person & he LOVED them!! They went 1st & quick. Very easy to make. THANKS!

Highly recommend you try these - I was going to make Buffalo Wings for Super Bowl but after I saw these on Big Daddy's House made them instead. They are fabulous, easy to make and have great crowd appeal. My husband told me he never wants to see another Buffalo Wing in our house again!!!!

I also followed the recipe exactly and had no problems. I had a superbowl party and they were a big hit with both the adults and the children. One child who never eats anything I make, asked me to make more. Thanks for a great recipe.

Could almost be a meal in itself with a few side dishes such as a salad and/or potato. Not a hot sauce fan so substituted with catsup and it worked well. Tried the dip but liked it better without anything to take in the full flavor of the cheese ball. Love all your "down home" cooking receipes where one doesn't have to spend a fortune on ingredients one doesn't normally have on hand. Keep up the excellent work!!

Aaron McCargo, Jr..... You Nailed it with this recipe! I saw Big Daddy's Show and knew I had to try it for myself. I served this ball of ingenuity during my super bowl party, and it was a hit. I used the lemon pepper flavored chicken, and added a little more lemon juice and my home style seasoning. Also, my girlfriend and I were discussing other variations and thought of adding blue cheese or even gorgonzola cheese. and the dip... i went wild... started out with a ranch dressing base, made it sweet and added a little heat.

    KUDOS for this one!

I saw others adding bread crumbs and egg to mixture, I guess my chicken was too wet. I cannot wait to make them and have them turn out great. Love the show, always!

We made these for our Super Bowl spread. Delicious. We will make them again. The flavors combine together wonderfully. Based on some reviewers' concerns about the balls holding together, we let the cheese and other ingredients come up to room temperature, then added the chicken, formed the balls, and chilled until ready to cook. Next time, we might add a little extra scallion, because we like its fresh flavor.
