I actually baked these. Doubled the hot sauce and used shredded skim mozzarella. Girlfriend taught me a trick to cripy baked breaded foods by lightly toasting the panko in a frying pan with a little butter/olive oil/seasongs. Then, I went through the same process of rolling in flour, egg and toasted bread crumbs. The bites seemed to form better after the mixture was chilled for a bit. I froze the bites already breaded. Baked them in oven at 350 for 25-30 minutes until really crispy. The lower fat mozzeralla worked well b/c it didn't ooze out. Sauce was great too. Will definitely make again and bake.

This is the best, espcially when there are more people over to watch football. It is my go to recipe that everyone loves. I even used Aaron spicy blue cheese dip from a recent show and my hubby is dipping everything in it. This is great!!

Great snack/appetizer. I made these over the weekend and we loved them. I made the "balls" as stated without substitutions and it worked out perfectly. I did not make the dressing, just simply used a store bought blue cheese dressing. I was actually thinking that I might turn these into a topper for a salad, with blue cheese dressing.

Love the FN Channel and have been a very loyal follower. For those who gave some less than favorable reviews, they either need to hire a cook to make this for them or learn a little more about how to season to "your" taste for theres to come close to what I tasted. I'm not a friend of Big Daddy, one might say I'm a fan of all the chefs on the show....He's one of my favorites. Keep up the good work Aaron. I'd say for this recipe review...MAJORITY RULES, hands down....these were excellent. For those of you who were seeking an alternative to preventing them from being dry, I added some dijon mustard and a little lite mayo..this makes them easier to mold and keeps them moist but not too wet. * * * * *

Made these for a fantasy football draft party for my husband. I used Hooters wing breading instead of the bread crumbs. I rolled the balls and breaded them, dipped them in egg and breaded them again. Huge hit!

WOW.....Made this recipe for a back yard marqarita party. Doubled the amount for 20 people. Have had requests for the recipe since everything was devoured within minutes. I added various sliced peppers, cukes and scallions alongside the serving plate. It was gorgeous. Thank you, Aaron can't wait to try the sliders.
