OMG, we made this tonight and it was awful. WAY too much salt & red pepper. I thought it had to be a typo (tablespoon?? and used teaspoons and it was still too much. 4 tbsp of minced garlic? I used maybe 1/2 of that and it was too much. Tastes vary, but use caution when spicing this up - you can always add more. Maybe if your canned tomatoes are "no salt added" you'll be ok?? By the time you add the cheese this dish will be very salty. Dentine gum, Crest toothpaste and mouthwash & I still can't get the taste of this out of my mouth. We threw it out. Waste of time, money and food. Bleh!!

Delicious. I love spicy foods but the tablespoon of red pepper flakes was way too much. Will definitely cut that down to a teaspoon or less. I didn't see the smoked mozzarella in the recipe so I used what I had on hand which was a bag of shredded Italian cheese blend. Worked perfect.

It was BUMPIN!! What a great dish. I knew my 'heat' tolerance so I cut down on the red pepper flakes and black pepper. Served it with garlic bread!

Delicious dish but felt it was overpowered by the smoked mozzarella. Next time will use plain mozzarella.

I knew it would be too spicy so I elminiated the red pepper. This was very tasty and a big hit with even my picky eater. Will definitely make again

This recipe is way too spicy. I cut the red pepperflakes in half and only put in 1 teaspoon black pepper and we could not eat it. What a waste of money. It looked really good, maybe I will try it again without the red pepper and just a sprinkle of black pepper.

I tried this recipe last night and everyone loved it. I seem to have extra children here every night at supper time. I doubled the recipe and it was enough for 8. It had just enough spice but not enough to overwhelm the whole dish. Loved it!
