Big Daddy's House is awesome!! I made half with pork and half with shrimp, because my dad only eats seafood, and both were great.

Big Daddy rocks! Fantastic recipe. Absoluty love the avacado dipping sauce! I have made this recipe with pork and chicken, both times it was awesome! We will make this again and again.

We made this as a family and had a great time! My daughter ate more and more. I added a little cayenne for a bit of kick, and it was GREAT!

We made the empanadas along with beef short ribs tonight. They were soooo good and easy to make. The inside meat could be replaced with chicken or beef, and although the cheese makes the meal more authentic. We missed the gooey cheese. Still, this was amazing! We love Big Daddy!

I thought the empanada recipe was absolutely delish! They were very easy to fill, EXTREMELY simple to make, and the pie crust idea was perfect-especially since I don't have that much time to make homemade dough!! Thanx Aaron!!!

The ingredient portions were incorrect, they were difficult to make and put in the pie crust and unfortunately no one liked them nor ate more than one. Sadness.

I just made these empanadas, and they were awesome! Thanks so much for the recipe, Big Daddy! And, especially, thanks for the tip about using the store bought pie crust. I had no idea it would taste so authentic, and it is a great time saver. My family will definitely be eating more empanadas as a result, and your flavorful pork filling spurred me on to think about other fillings, such as using chicken and seafood, which has my creative juices brewing.

I can't wait to make these as an appetizer for my next dinner party, and they are great at room temperature, so can be made a bit ahead. Thanks, again, Aaron.

I love making empanadas, sweet and savory. I watched the show, then went right out & bought the ingredients needed and made these using homemade empanada dough instead of store-bought pie crust. They were very good. I'll definitely make them again!
BTW....in response to Wanda regarding the dipping sauce, the salsa verde was used in the sauce that was drizzled over the spicy tomato napoleons, not with the dipping sauce for these empanadas; so that's why you didn't see it listed in this recipe.
