  I saw Aaron make this a while ago and wanted to try it so I made it for the first time for a chili luncheon at work. It was a big hit! Everyone wanted the recipe and said it was the best chicken chili they'd ever had. It was easy to make and I'm not a big spicy eater but it was perfect and the sour cream I think helps to cut the spice. This recipe is definitely going in my recipe box!!

  I've been trying to find a great chicken chili for a long time and this is it at last! It was pretty easy to make - although the directions could have been clearer about how long to stir the roux and the veggies. I added more peppers than it called for and cut down on the butter but it was still fantastic. I wouldn't reduce the spiciness at all - it was just the right level of heat and flavor. I will be making this again and again.

  HANDS DOWN - THIS IS THE BEST CHILI

  I MADE THIS CHILI AND IT WAS COMPLETELY DEVOURED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT BUT WITH SO MUCH FLAVOR TRY THIS RECIPE YOU CANNOT GO WRONG. THE GREAT THING ABOUT THIS RECIPE IS THAT YOU CAN ALTER THE SEASONINGS/SPICES BY ADDING LESS OR MORE AND THE FLAVOR IS STILL THERE. TRY IT AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE GIVEN THIS A THUMBS UP! OH, I ALMOST FORGOT TO WRITE THAT IT IS SO SIMPLE TO MAKE AFTER YOU PREP THE CHICKEN AND VEGGIES ITS A PIECE OF CAKE. THIS WILL BE ON MY SUPERBOWL MENU THIS WEEKEND!

  Tomato Based Recipe's Can't Hold A Candle To This!

  I like tomato based chillis but my stomach doesn't like them. This chilli is so smooth and my stomach agrees! I have no problems after eating this chilli. I have made this recipe so many times since it first aired that I can't even remember. I have passed it along to family and they love it. My brother said if he's offered beef chilli again he will slap someone!LOL I made this instead of the basic Christmas Dinner along with some other unique dishes and everyone went crazy. After the first time I did cut back on the cayenne though. A little to spicy for my kids. I had some spicy steamed shrimp during the dinner and some guests started throwing those in their chilli too. It seems they really enjoyed it with the shrimp added. Good job Aaron...

  I have tried multiple recipes over the years and i'll never try another one again. This was so flavorful, and so easy. We like things spicy so I added chopped hot peppers instead of mild, and also a some Crystal Hot Sauce for added flavor, but it only enhanced and did not overpower the other seasonings. We also added a can of Great Northern Beans and served it with the sour cream on the top to dip corn chips into. Fabulous!

  I knew I had to make this when I the way Aaron McCargo reacted to it while eating it on his show. He closed his eyes and looked like he had died and gone to Heaven. Just made it, and it IS all that! I made it to the letter, and it is perfect! For those who don't like a bite maybe hold back a bit on the spices, but in my opinion it really is not "bite your head off" spicy at all. Yummy and creamy and satisfying. This is now going to be in the regular meal rotation!

  Spicy Chunky Chicken Chili

  This soup was awesome. It has a better flavor after it sits for 24 hours. The flavor meld togther and some of the spicyness dies done a bit. The 2nd time I made it I only added 1 can of the mild chiles to bring the heat down a bit. It was still pretty spicy. Defiantly recommend to anyone.

  Oh My Goodness Chili

  This was the best Chili ever. I do not like real spicy food or drinking a gallon of ice water after each bite. This chili had the bite and fabulous flavor without having your mouth on fire after each bite. It was easy to make and the flavor was fabulous. I have passed out this recipe to several friends. They watch your show but do not have internet.

  I will never make chili with beef again. This chili is delicious and ridiculously easy to make. Not a cumin fan, though, so I substituted with smoked paprika. Smooth and flavorful. Fabulous! A great idea on a cold and wintry day.

  "BEST CHICKEN CHILI EVER"

  I must admit that I was somewhat skeptical to try this recipe, even with all the great reviews. However, this chili is "some good eatin'". My entire family loved the dish, although you can scale back on the butter amount by perhaps browning the chicken with cooking spray and utilize the butter in the area of the Roue. Outstanding recipe, I would recommend on any day.

  Tried this recipe and loved it. Didn't have exactly all the spices and improvised a bit and used half and half instead of cream and did add 1 small can of diced tomatoes....but loved it; loved it; loved it! A nice change from a red beef chilli style. Everyone needs to add this recipe to their favorites! Thanks Aarion!

  Great Way to Use Leftover Chicken or Turkey

  I came across this recipe when searching for a different way to use leftover chicken. All the positive posted reviews convinced me to give it a try. Wow!   THE FIRST TIME I MADE THIS RECIPE IT WAS A GREAT HIT. I HAVE MADE IT 3 MORE TIMES SINCE THEN. SINCE I AM A PERSON THAT LIKES SPICEY MORE THAN HOT I SERVED CAYENNE PEPPER, CHILLES, SOUR CREAM AND 4 BLEND MEXICAN SHREDED CHEESE ON THE SIDE. I ALSO MADE CORN BREAD TO EAT WITH THIS. EVERYONE IS ALWAYS BEGGING ME TO MAKE IT AGAIN. I HAD ANOTHER WHITE CHILLI RECIPE WHICH I THREW OUT AFTER MAKING THIS ONE I DO NOT BELIEVE IT GETS ANY BETTER THAN THIS !
