Wow! We made this together as a couple and had a great time with it. The ingredients were very colorful and the smell in our kitchen made my mouth water. The chili had a pretty good kick, but it was very flavorful. One bowl wasn't enough.

I made this chili last week after seeing Aaron make it. I made it accompanied by cornbread and it was delish! The only complaint I have is there weren't any leftovers! I will definitely try his other recipes, I will be making the pork chops w/the madeira mushroom sauce tomorrow.

Absolutely delicious and so easy to make. Me and hubby just finished dinner and this is literally my first review on FN! My only complaint is that the recipe calls for a whole stick of a butter. You use half to brown the chicken but the steps don't mention when you use the other 1/2. I assumed it was for the roux and it seemed to work out fine. Looking forward to more great recipe's from Big Daddy!

We left out the chili powder, and cut the amount of the other spices in half--and it was just about perfect for our family's palate. (Couldn't imagine the heat if we put that much cayenne pepper in--this family's taste buds are a bit weak! This was the first of Big Daddy's recipes that we've tried. We'll definitely be trying more. Thank you.

I've never tried a recipe from a TV show!
    You're awesome!
The kids loved it, which was a surprise, since they're really picky eaters.
I shared it with all my friends on Facebook, and I'll be making it for the next work potluck!
    Thanks, Aaron.

I made this dish the day after I had seen the show, and believe me... INCREDIBLE! My Wife loved it so much she suggested I make a larger batch for her work pot-lucks. Keep up the good work Aaron and thank you for another great recipe.

    Thanks,

    Joey

I couldn't wait to make this recipe after I watched the episode-- Aaron you sure make some delicious food!!! The recipe was easy, and sooo delicious; my family went crazy for this dish.We had it with cornbread and it was incredible. It was also delicous the next day for lunch. I do have 2 concerns though-- the recipe calls for 1 stick of butter divided, after using the initial 4 tablespoons when browning the chicken it never calls for the other 4 tablespoons. Also, I used half of the cayenne and it was still really spicy; next time I will use just 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne and 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper so it will have good heat but not be too spicy. Thanks for such a great go to dinner!! My family hasn't stopped talking about it and continues to ask me to make it again and again!!

This chili was VERY good! We all had second servings the night I originally made it. It was a little too spicy for my taste, but that is easily remedied. When it was time to eat the leftovers, I added some jasmine rice to it and it was delicious! We eat alot of chicken and it's so great to have a new recipe. thanks Aaron!
