AARON THIS CHILI WAS DELICIOUS!!!! I SAW THIS RECIPE ON THE FOOD NETWORK THIS PAST WEEKEND (8/7/09 TO 8/9/09, AND DECIDED THAT I WOULD GIVE IT A SHOT. I MADE THE FOLLOWING SUBSTUTIONS:
USED CANOLA HARVEST MARGINE ISTEAD OF BUTTER
USED GREEN, RED, AND ORANGE BELL PEPPERS, CUT IN NICE CHUNKS
USED SEA SEA SALT INSTEAD OF KOSHER SALT
USED BLACK BEANS INSTEAD OF CANNELINI BEANS
USED FRESH JALAPENO PEPPERS ISTEAD OF CANNED MILD GREEN CHILES
DID NOT ADD SOUR CREAM
DID NOT USE CHEESE OR PARSLEY LEAVES FOR GARNISH, INSTEAD USED CILANTRO (WHICH I USED WHILE COOKING AND AS A GARNISH
ADDED CHIPOTLE SAUCE
THIS VARIATION OF YOUR RECIPE WAS VERRRRRRRRY DELICIOUS!!!! AND I PLAN TO COOK IT MORE OFTEN. THIS A MEAL IN ITSELF OR WOULD GO NICELY WITH SOME WELL DONE FLANK STEAKS OR CARNE ASADA! lLOVE THIS CHILI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never wanted chicken chili until we watched you make this. I couldn't wait for Sunday leftovers to be gone so I could make this for dinner. Simple, classic. This one goes in my box to make again and again. Thanks, and God bless you for sharing your talent.

My husband, who doesn't watch the food network, saw this episode and wanted me to make the chili. OMG!!!! this chili is sooooooooo good! It was very easy to make and has a wonderful flavor. I agree with Cassandra about the cayenne pepper. I will go a little easy next time with the pepper and possibly add some tomatoes. Thanx Big Daddy!

this looked SOOOO good when I saw it, I simply HAD to come online to get the recipe. Since I can't eat tomatoes, the traditional chili is not an option for me and I've been experimenting with white chicken chili for about the past year or so...I think this will definitely become the favorite! I'll post again when I make it (BTW, per Jessica, the addition of the can of corn at the end sounds great, too

Aaron,
My son begged me to make this dish after watching it on Big Daddy's House. I made it for dinner tonight and it was a huge hit with my husband and son!
Thanks!

I have tried making cili in the past, but never achieved the flavor I wanted. This recipe was on point. The only thing I would change would be the amount of cayenne pepper. It was a little spicier than my husband and I prefer, so I made some rice to go with it. This recipe is definitely a keeper. Thanks Big Daddy.

Aaron! You did your thang! This recepie was FANTASTIC! My mouth was watering just watching the show! I knew I had to make this chili! It was the best. I believe my daughter and I could eat this whole pot of chili by ouselves. We made cornbread on the side and it completed the dish! WAY TO GO!
