    This is the best black bean burger ever!!! I love the szechuan sauce! I could just eat it by itself! I have had black bean burgers at restaurants and they were no where as good as this one! My teenage daughter loved it also! Way to go Aaron, you are AWESOME!!!

    I saw this episode and decided to try it even though I'm not a black bean fan. I omitted the hot sauce (thank goodness and it still had quite the zip to it. I also didn't try the sauce because I didn't think it needed it but I could see how it might add that little something. We made the mixture ahead of time then made the burgers near dinner time which was super fast and great to do.

    I wanted to start the new year eating less meat and happened to see Aaron and his adorable soon preparing this recipe. I went out the next day and got all of the ingredients. Wow!!! I enjoyed this sooooooooooooo much!!! It was easy to make and oh so flavorful. I have made it several times and have given this recipe to friends who are vegetarians. I can't say enough about this recipe. It has quickly come one of my favorites. Thank you so much!!!

    I am not a vegetarian but I do like a good black bean burger every now and then. THis burger was easy to make and very flavorful. and not too spicy I used roasted red peppers in the sauce because I forgot to get the sun dried tomatoes from the grocery store. I topped with guacomole, spinach and red onion on a whole wheat bun.
    PS Aaron, you son is just adorable!!.

    This the is the best black bean burger! I used onion instead of shallots and topped with avocados. I made it a day before so all the flavors would blend. This was the best bean burger I ever made! The only thing I didn't care for was the sun dried tomatoes with schezwan sauce. I plan to make a chipolte tomato ketchup next time.

    Not too spicy....lots of flavor, easy to make. I will be making this burger with my summer cookouts! This burger holds together well!

    I was really excited to see Aaron do a vegetarian burger using black beans. It was very flavorful, moist and delcious. I followed the recipe to a "T". My boyfriend liked it so much he wanted seconds. I will definitely make this black bean burger again and again.

    The only thing that I did differently for the sauce was to use hoisin sauce. I had some of that and did not have any szhechen sauce.

    We made these last weekend after the show and they were wonderful! I added fresh garlic to the burger mix, a slice of avocado to the finished burger, and served on a toasted everything bagel. I was surprised at how quick and easy the recipe was.
