Home run for Big Daddy! Great as is, although I sometimes skip the pancetta and/or add in baby spinach. Great with a fried egg on top. Winner!

Pretty tasty, hearty meal. Served it w/ a salad for a lighter contrast. A few modifications:

    - Increased pancetta amount (0.4 lb instead of 0.25
    - Can omit parsley if you don't have handy

I have commented on the entire show aired on April 11th b/c I prepared it for my family, but this here! This here was the best! I love pancetta, leeks and potatoes! The combination was wonderful! The marriage was on time! This recipe was the first to disappear from the dinner table! The entire show was named correctly. It was truly a DYNAMITE DINNER! I will definitely prepare this again! Thank you Big Daddy!

This was a great recipe. Instead of using potatoes though I used turnips. It was great!!! Prepared them the same way and they came out perfect. If you want that crusty chared effect you get at a diner just leave them in the pan longer. MMmmm!! Also, the leeks are a great touch because this is a great food item that isn't used often enough...in this home cook's opinion.

Liked the mixture of leeks and pancetta-would make again! Could someone tell me another name for red bliss potatoes? Produce dept.s in Denver have never heard of them including Kroger.

I am always excited to see what Aaron is going to make. He has such interesting recipes that are really tasty. Plus, he has such passion about the food he cooks, it makes you want to run out and get the ingredients and make the dishes right away.

I haven't made this recipe, but I've added it to my recipe box, and I am going to make it real soon. I just wanted to say how much I love the show and I love seeing Aaron cook with such enthusiasm and pride. Keep up the good work.

I"m a vegetarian any suggestions on replacing the pancetta? Or do you think it will be just as good without it?

I saw this recipe this morning & i immediately went to kitchen and made it. It looked so good i had to have it right now! It was so easy and when i got to take the first bite it was like heaven! The leeks were not overpowering at all and the pancetta had just the right amount of saltiness with the red potatoes. YAAAAAY!

This is delicious! Aaron McCargo is in the top 5 chef of all your shows. I love how he explains the what and why of what we are cooking. He inspires us all to get out there and cook at home.

    Thank you for choosing him,
