Just finished making this, it was super simple and super yum. I think I'm going to use this recipe next time I make a stir fry. Loved it!

I was not able to find the Snake beans (thou it would have been too cool. in my market, so I actually made the recipe with frozen green beans. They still turned out perfect. A nice crunchy bite with just a little hint of heat in the background. I ended up mixing them in with the Shiitake Mushroom brown rice and could have easily made that a meal in itself! So good!!

this is one of my favorite vegetables. We call it Bora in Guyana, and here in New York it can be found in Richmond Hill in Queens. Very popular among the guyanese community. I love the new way of cooking these long beans, very tasty.

After watching the show the recipes in this episode looked so delicious that I had to try them. Aaron always makes preparing food seem so easy. I made the Hoisin-glazed chicken, the mushroom brown rice and whole glazed green beans (I didn't use Chinese long beans or the Cornish hen but it was great anyway. My family really enjoyed the meal, it couldn't have been better. Thanks Big Daddy!

I also skipped the blanching step because I like firm and crunchy beans. I used fresh whole green beans because the Chinese Long beans were unavailable in the market, but they came out great!! Everyone wanted seconds! I will make them again but will double the recipe next time!! Thanks Big Daddy!!

I skipped the blanching step altogether. i like beans crunchy and it didn't seem worth dirtying more dishes. I also cut the beans into shorter lengths to make it easier all around. They were delicious, plus fast and easy while I was preparing the rest of dinner. I could see using the process and ingredients with other veggies like asparagus.

This meal is great for entertaining! I was able to find Chinese Long Beans at our local Asian market...was going to use Hericot Verts, but lucked out finding the beans. My 5 year old son loves green beans, and he loved these! They cooked in no time. These will also be good as a side dish with a roasted chicken for Sunday dinner. We love bold tastes and big flavor!

    Thanks again, Big Daddy!
