Okay, Big Daddy's pizzas are terrific but I rarely use his recipes as they are toooo fattening for me. That does not mean I have to be mean about him. I like him and I watch him. He is fun. So why chop Melissa? She is a GOOD cook and I use a lot of her recipes. In terms of programming, his audience is more limited to cooks who like a lot of calories and hers is followed by those who keep watch on calories and money. Perhaps her show has a bigger and slimmer audience. Be nice!

I totally agree with the comment on Melissa she should not be in reruns she is not a good cook. She does not have nearly as many shows as Aron.. And on that note what about Adam Gertler he came in second against Aaron and he has add several failed shows on the Food Network. tt's as if they are determined to keep his face on the network. It leads me to wonder why is it a race thing. I'm very disappointed with the people at the top that make the decisions. I now watch very few shows on FN, and Aaron is one that I do. When I first choose my cable provider it was because they had the FN. Shame on you for wasting good talent and being determined to waste airtime on those with no talent.

We followed this recipe to the letter. It was the best pizza I have ever eaten. I will not be able to order pizza again! The sausage was so good. The fennel really adds great flavor. Thank you Big Daddy can't wait to try new recipes.

I love all of Aaron's recipes. They are wonderful and he is so much fun to watch. I agree with the other viewer, PLEASE GIVE HIM A DAILY SHOW!! I also agree that Melissa's recipes are boring and predictable.

Why have you taken this wonderful chef OFF and only giving him 'ONE SHOW A WEEK"". You have given the amateur MELISSA d'A PRIMETIME ON SUNDAYS and more shows. She CAN NOT COOK.

I was very excited to try this recipe after watching the episode. Unfortunately, when I looked it up, there were no amounts for any of the spices in the sausage. Since when do you just list the ingredients? I love Big Daddy and all of his recipes that I have tried. Please give us the full recipe, because it looked delicious.

This was a very simple dinner tonight. However, I do have some tips:
1. Wait until you?re ready to add the meat before you put the fennel and peppers in the skillet. (I used turkey sausage that had to be removed for the casing, and I didn?t get all the sausage out the casings and into the pan fast enough, and burned the first batch of fennels and red peppers!
2. Be easy on the salt. I?d guess 1 tsp, and then add more to taste.
The spiciness of the sausage is a little strong, but very delicious! I will make turkey ground sausage like this from now on! I used store bought, ready made pizza dough, so only oven/grill time was required- and still deliciouso!

How to review a recipe when you didn't follow it??? Your version sounds great yet certainly not the recipe as presented.

This is a fun family dinner idea. We cut the dough into slightly bigger than biscuit-size and they worked fine. Traded out the pork for pepperoni, so I can't speak to whether the pork/seasonings were too hot (Big Daddy likes bold flavors. Left out the fennel seed as well; don't think you'd miss it frankly. We finished them with grated parmesan and skipped the parsley. Can recommend highly.
