WOW - crazy good. Agreement on the salt - 3 TBSP is way more than needed. What we did was put a remix on the recipe. I took fresh chicken and ground it in my food processor - then added in the remainder of the recipe - reducing the salt to 1 tbsp. AMAZING. I will not be buying store bought sausage again. Bid Daddy, you did it again. Thanks so much!

This is undoubtedly one of the best burgers ever!!! SO MUCH FLAVOR and using extra lean ground pork makes it a health choice for the family. Thank you Big Daddy.... U ROCK!!!

I truly love everything I've made from chef Mcargo! This recipe seemed perfect and easy enough to make for my father in law on our Sunday lunch. Everything was perfect, exept for the salt! I would definitely just use about 1 tablespoon of salt. I've re-made them since with 1 tablespoon of salt and the sandwiches are excellent. Keep doing what you do big daddy!

I will never go back to store bought sausages again. These were so good and the spices Chef McCargo chose were perfect!

Please tell me that the ratio of spice to meat is off! I was so excited to make this and couldn't believe I was adding so many spices to the meat. I will definately make again, but use about a 1/2 of everything listed. My husband loves spicy/salty food, but could not finish his sandwich.

Saw this on his show and I had to try it. I used the seasonings he listed, but to my own taste. I cut back on the salt and smoked paprika but everything else was spot on. I had some left over, and the flavors were even better the second day. Hands down the best sausage sandwich I ever had. Aaron is the man!

I did cut back on the Kosher salt. 3 TBLS looked like too much, so I used less, but next time will probably only use 1 TBLS. We like highly seaonsed food, but the salt was a bit too much...same for the vegetables; I'll just cut back a little next time. Other that that, it had great heat, which is hard to find anymore. I'm sure if you don't like that much spice, the flavor could still be there, just use less. Also, I measured the fennel seed then ground it as I don't care for the whole seeds. Very messy sandwhich, but that's what makes it good. Will definately make again!

I made this sandwich last night for my son and boyfriend. I used a lot less seasoning than stated. I t was still very tasty and seasoned. I will definitely make these burgers again.
