I am obsessed with salmon. I mean OB-SESSED with salmon. I could live on salmon. Really. So I'm always searching for salmon recipes. The only kind of salmon I do not like is canned salmon. For this recipe I bought a beautiful filet, rubbed it with a smidge of extra virgin olive oil and salt, and baked it. When it cooled, I flaked the fish and followed the recipe exactly. The burger was absolutely delicious. I think it was because of how basic the seasonings were. A lot of salmon burger recipes drown the flavor with a complicated mishmash of seasonings. This salmon burger recipe is most definitely a keeper. Thanks, Aaron.

One of our favorite recipes from Big Daddy. I make them smaller, skip the buns and serve them with a dollop of the dill mayo. I almost always have the ingredients on hand. We like really spicy food so our pinch of cayenne is a big pinch. The dill in the mayo makes it stand out and the lemon zest in the patties is key, IMO. Since mayo is a snap to make in a quart jar with an immersion blender, I just whip up some mayo (2 minutes! when I prepare this recipe. It all comes together super quick. Thanks Aaron for another great recipe!

Very delicious, but I must say in my opinion it's all about the dill mayo - really fresh and bright - picks up the patties so well. In answer to a previous reviewer's question, "Do I add 4 tbsp. of the Dill/Mayo mix to the burger mix and reserve the other 4 tbsp. for the spread on top sauce?" - yes, that's the way it's written, but my advice to anyone is to make extra!

I just discovered this recipe, and OMG am I glad I did! Absolutely delicious, and I didn't even have all of the fresh herbs. I did not have parsley or dill so I used some homemade dill salt. Aaron earns the title of Big Daddy on this one! Thank you, Aaron! This is a keeper.

So delicious and easy to make though I always stumble for this reason. Do I add 4 TBLS. of the Dill/Mayo mix to the burger mix and reserve the other 4 TBLS. for the spread on top sauce? 1/2 cup of mayo is equal to 8 TBLS. Oh and I add a touch of garlic and enjoy that extra layered effect of great flavors.

Absolutely perfect, the burgers were so delicious. The dressing was off the chain, I cook this dish at least once a week. I turned my family onto this recipe and they love it too. I will be cooking this tonight, a favorite of my hubby. Thanks Aaron!
