This was an excellant salmon burger. My family enjoyed it to the fullest. My uncle said he would take it to work and eat it at lunch time. I'll do this recipe again.

OMG...I made these yesterday took some for lunch to share with a coworker....of course I had to taste them first, I always make salmon cakes especially with grits but never made them this way. Anyway they were delicious I bought the salmon I normally buy and just took the skin and bones out because the skinless n boneless wasn't enough so I would have to buy too many cans but none the less this recipe was great and the dill spread was awesome my coworker said where did u buy that....I kindly said with a smile I made it lol....great recipe will do over n over

Loved this recipe! Very simple, quick, and super yum. The dill was a nice touch to the mayo. Definitely including this in the recipe box.

They were jammin'! didn't have any fresh dill so i used 1 tsb of dill relish, also had to use a full cup of panko to bring it together. The lemon zest and juice make all the difference. Don't understand how anyone could say it was bland. I toasted my buns and spread on more dill mayo--umm, umm good!!

This was not good at all. You can't even compare the taste when you try and make a salmon burger with fresh salmon. The canned salmon leaves it very bland.

    We loved these burgers!

A few minor changes that I made were that I added some garlic and also lemon juice along with the lemon zest. I also used fresh salmon and not canned, so I increased the panko to 1 cup because of the extra moisture. I also patted some panko breadcrumbs on the outside of the burger for a bit of crunch when I fried them.

The Dill Mayo is really good, I didn't use it in the salmon burger, but just as a topping.

The flavor was verry delicious. I too thought they were just a tad salty but I used fresh salmon and wasn't sure how much salmon to put in which would be equivalent to that 2 cans stuff, so it could be a fault on my end where there wasn't enough salmon in the patties. They were still deelish though and my bf loved em. I'd make them again (:
