Yum! Delicious brownies...loved the crunch of the chopped hazelnuts on top (skipped the frosting. Forgot to add the vanilla bean, but used turbinado sugar with vanilla flavor and that worked out great.

Ok, these brownies are AMAZING. If you like a fudgy, non-cake-like brownie, these are for you. These are going to become my basic brownie recipe, they're that good. But a warning: don’t get too creative with them the first time around, especially when you're supposed to take them to a party the next day. (Yes, I do this all the time. No, I never learn. Here's what *not* to do: (1 Do not make them in a mini-muffin tin, even if it is non-stick and you spray the heck out of it, to boot. They will stick anyway. Paper liners may work, but as is now obvious, I didn't use them, so I don't know. (2 Do not think, "Chocolate chips will add an extra layer of fudgy goodness, so I'll add a few of those on top." They will sink and become part of the problem outlined in (1 above. That said and properly chastened, I will now follow the instructions, but the reason I am not sad is that I have a PILE of AMAZING brownie pieces with which to do wonderful things--if they even make it that far.

These brownies are awesome. I rarely cook, so I decided to make these brownies for my child. He could not wait till I finished. He wanted to ***** the bowl, the spoon and the blades on the blender after pouring the batter. Needless to say he wanted more than one serving once they were finished. Thanks Aaron. You have one happy little boy here :

I didnt have the opportunity to taste the whole killer hazelnut aspect of this brownie. I just had a craving for brownies with no mix in the house so I had to adjust this a little. I used brown sugar and regular flour (minus 1/2 Tablespoon for the cake flour. I didnt have any hazelnuts, grenadine, or powdered sugar, for the topping or frosting but what I do have is unbelievably delicous brownies. The vanilla bean and butter is just mouthwatering in this recipe. This will hands down be my new brownie recipe....I will never buy boxed again! It was really easy too. Now I am just going to have to work on not eating the entire pan in the next five minutes.

These brownies are amazing! They are magnificent! My family and I love these things! But they all think the frosting is just a little to sweet. Which I cant believe because the frosting is almost the best part! The best part has to be... the entire thing! Love you Aaron (as a cook ;

These brownies are JAMMIN! They are easy to make. The brownie is a fantastic brownie. The icing is DIVINE! You have to shop around for the vanilla bean. I doubled the recipie so I needed one whole bean. They really vary in price alot at different stores. I finally got one for 3.95. I will be using this recipie for church and social and family gatherings! He is on point with this one! I will add it to my special book of recipies! Thanks Aaron!
one more thing: I doubled the recipie (brownie but used the icing for the small pan. It was more than enough for the big pan.

I had a taste for brownies, but I didn't have my normal box mix in the house. I remembered this recipe, but I didn't have turbinado sugar, so I used regular granulated. I didn't have cake flour, so I just used all-purpose. The brownies still came out great! I couldn't stop tasting the mixture before it went into the oven and when it came out I couldn't wait for the brownies to cool before I sliced into one.
I like my brownies dense and fudge-y and these met my expectations. These are absolutely fantastic and I didn't even try the icing! I should have doubled the batch, but they are so easy to prepare that it's no big deal to make more.
