In a hurry? Forget the lamb meatballs. I bought the Italian premade ones at Trader Joe's and just made the spread! Slapped a meatball, spread and fresh mozerella on a mini french roll and it was heaven!

Very good! Followed recipe exactly except the spinach. I used 5 oz of fresh spinach because that is what I had. It turned out so well that I will probably make it the same way next time. This meal is tasty, fast, and kid friendly. And I love dishes that include vegetables!

This was a fantastic hoagie that was loaded with flavor and easy to make.
Those who would shy away from lamb need to take the leap of faith with this one. The gamey taste of the lamb is balanced perfectly with the spinach, marscapone and sun-dried tomato topping. Wow - what a combo!
I highly recommend this recipe.

This sandwich was great! Everyone in my family loved it, even the sun-dried tomato, spinach spread. Awesome! I have added this to my recipes.

The meatballs were good, but to me, the filling with mascapone, which reminded me of spinach artichoke dip, was the star of the sandwich. A little messy to make with all those oily sun-dried tomatoes and fronzen spinach, lots of minced garlic, but over all, great lunch menu.
