Very little flavor. The cinnamon cream cheese was excellent though.

I was little skeptical at first about using canned yams but after reading all the reviews I decided to try the recipe as it was written...and OMG..it was perfect and was a hit at the Thankgiving potluck for work. The next time I made them I added a little bourbon and OMG..this made them something real special and were also a hit for the Xmas party.

These turned out great. I didn't have time to prepare mini pie shells, so I spooned the filling into mini fillo(phylloshells. Everyone loved them. I plan to make them again for our holiday party at work.

These were a HUGE HIT for Thanksgiving this year!! Super delicious. I couldn't find pre-made mini pie shells, but I bought a pack of regular pie crusts and used a drinking glass to cut out the shapes.....it worked perfectly! I got exactly 24 shells out of 2 large shells. Putting the frosting in a piping bag with the star tip was definitely a nice touch!!! A lot of people thought I got them from a bakery! I will make these again next year for sure!

Wonderful recipe. For years I tried and failed to make a great tasting sweet potato pie. The holidays are not the holidays without sweet pot pie. This is the easiest and best tasting sweet potato pie recipe! The balance between the sweet potatoes and the spices - yum. I've found other recipes are too sugary, too milky or the filling comes out without any kick. Not this one. For a moment I hesitated when I saw the caramel sauce on the ingredient list. Now I realize, Aaron knows what he is doing. The caramel gave it just the right level of sweetness. Aaron I will lift a fork in your honor on Thanksgiving and everytime I enjoy this wonderful recipe.

O.M.G Aaron I made your recipe it came out really good . I had to use nutmeg instead of allspice ( i didn't have none but it came out so good. I took the mini pies to work and I tell you they didn't last long at all. I only had 2 one when i made them and the other at work. I was like dang i knew i should of got 2. Thanks Big Daddy for that delicious pie recipe. And yes you need to be on more than what you are.
