Have always loved Monte Christo's.Never made them.Tryed your receipt and it turned out wonderful.I do all the dinners for my wife and Daughter. They thought I went out and bought them...( which I have before . I even amazed myself.I actually followed directions.
I will be printing off lots more of your receipts...you make me look good.Normally I need my 'shop-vac' by me when I cook.

    Thanks again

I've never tried this type of sandwich before until now. What a great sandwich and the cinnamon was the right spice to add to this! I will be making these again!

This is a Great Sandwhich!!! The sandwhich by it self is great, but when you dip in the sauce it's like, a great party in your mouth.

This was a very good and easy sandwich to make. I had not had this type of sandwich in years. The sauce was really the best over all. With the last over sauce I made a roast pork and pour it over the pork while it was cooking. That pork turn out great, so I also try it with ribs. YUM, YUM Try it!

We had my mother in law over for a Valentine's Day luncheon and I served these wonderful sandwiches! They were a big hit and the dipping sauce so so good I had it the next day with grilled chicken breasts! Thanks again, Aaron!

First let me start by saying I nevered heard of a Monte Christo Sandwich. After listening to the recipe I thought "Hey, this is like making french toast with a sandwich. Boy was I wrong. It was alot more preparation, plus baking and worth every moment in the kitchen. I did the extra ham for my husband as you did in the episode and he loved every bite of it. The cranberry sauce that my kids refuse to eat during the Thanksgiving holidays or at Christmas. Well they enjoyed the Cranberry Syrup dip. Although I added the pepper I added a two little teaspoons of Tiger sauce, just to spice the flavor a little. I am so pleased with the results. When I told the family that they were dipping cranberry sauce they were amazed. I love your creativity and your selection of using spic flavor is a big hit with me. Keep up the good work!
    P.S.
Thanks Food Network for a graet Chef!

Holy moly this recipe is delicious. I absolutely LOVED the french toast style bread. I think I have been inspired to prepare the bread for all of my sandwiches this way. (I do have quite the sweet tooth, and have an unusually strong obsession with french toast and breakfast foods in general. This recipe just hits it out of the park!

Good Sandwich. I too had watched others order Monte Cristos in restaurants, but had never had one before. This turned out good. My husband doesn't care for cranberry, so I used raspberry preserves instead and continued the recipe as written. I also made a second sauce using salt, pepper, garlic, parsley and onion powder with the raspberry and syrup. That was even better.

This sandwich was the bomb. My family loved it. I tried it with pepper jack cheese and added bacon it was great. The sauce complimented the sandwich nicely. This one is a keeper.
