This is by far my favorite slaw recipe! I love the spicy kick. The best part is there's no mayo so you don't have to worry about it spoiling at a picnic. I took it to a tailgate and my husbands friends couldn't get enough. I'll have to make a double batch next time. It can be really spicy, but honestly that depends on the pepper you have. I would recommend starting with half if you don't like a lot of heat and adding more if you want it. You can always add more spice, but once its in you can't take it out.

This was scrumptious!! Light, but with great flavor and packed a punch. Usually make a recipe, and give half each to my children who are at college, but have now they've requested that I prepare a whole recipe for each as their friends usually scarf it down!! I'm giving them both the recipe instead!!!! : This is also the recipe my friends request most when we're getting together for BBQs! Thanks Aaron...love your recipes and style!!

I live in Arizona, so summertime salads have a big chapter in my recipe book. This EASY dish was a huge hit at a party took it to. Several people who complimented it said, "It's broccoli? I hate broccoli." I took suggestions from reviewers to add some dried cranberries (since my family loves them and to make sure and add the lime juice. I cut back on the pepper a bit since I was also contributing Bobby Flay's chipotle potato salad. Not everyone can deal with as much hot as Big Daddy can!
Love your show, Aaron. The way you describe food, you could convince me to cook ANYTHING.

This was a great combo of flavors. Worked great as a side or as a topping on my burger. Loved the crunchiness and absence of mayo. The use of lime is really a plus. I used only half the amount of jalapeno and my guests still thought it was hot so you may want to be judicious on adding that.

I doubled the recipe since we have lots of guests, it was a touch too spicy so I added some craisins to give it some balance and added some texture. It was perfect!

I love vinegar based hot sauce & BBQ sauce, so this did justice to the taste buds. Loved the kick as well.

I'm always looking for light salads to go along with grilled meats. This was a big hit with my family. We love cilantro so I added about 2 tablespoons (chopped. IThere is no doubt I will be making this again, and again. Great work Aaron!!

This was so delicious and easy to prepare. It had just the right amount of heat to it. This will definitely be my go to summertime salad.
Thanks, Big Daddy!
