    I made thios recipe for my dad on Sunday for his 78th birthday. We all loved it. I did not have Mediera wine so I used Marsala, still turned out great!

    We substituted steak for the chops, and it came out perfect. The Maderia made all the difference. This is a keeper.

    i dont have midera wine, so i used marsala. it was fabulous!! i double it and it will be impressing co-workers tomorrow. =

    I did more research on this Maderia wine and found another recipe that uses beef demi-glaze in rhe sauce. This is what the 5 star big boyz do. Maderia wine has been around since the 1400's. I would like to see the Food Net use more of this wine in its recipes.

    This recipe was quite easy to prepare and the net result were moist flavorful chops that my family enjoyed. I always watch Aaron and he has been my inspiration on a number of dishes! I made this dish for 8 and increased all the ingredients by 4 except for the Madeira which I doubled. It got rave reviews from an otherwise rough crowd to cook for! Thanks again Aaron!
