The best ever! The allspice made them just the way my mom used to make them. I don't like anything hot (spicy, so I left out the cayenne and and forgot to add the white wine to the sauce, but it still came out excellently and I am looking forward to adding the wine next time. The real test will be to see if my picky 8 year old granddaughter will eat them and if she does, then my rating will jump to a 10 star!

These are excellent Swedish Meatballs. One thing we did was simmer the meatballs in the gravy for about 20 minutes before adding the Sherry vinegar and the sour cream. I think this gave a richer flavor to the broth.

Great! Very nice taste, original (not the typical meatball served in the USand easy to do. Would be a nice dish to serve to guests.

The meatballs were great!!! Per another review, they were a little spicy (don't add all the cayenne. I think this will be my go to recipe for meatballs, but I think the sauce had to much sourcream. I would use less next time. The sauce without the sourcream was very good. The sherry vinegar was just the right touch. Thanks Big Daddy, I love your recipes.

Super easy to make and a hit with my whole family. Meatballs were tender and flavorful and the sauce was savory and scrumptious. I followed the recipe exactly and will definitely make it again. The only change I will make is substitute monteray jack for the cheese and save the gueyere for a dish where cheese is the star.
By the way, for everyone looking for the nachos, they are called Loaded Sweet Potato Nachos. I have the sweet potato chips made and will make the rest of it for supper. We are having a Big Daddy day of food at our house today!

Swedish meatballs are not supposed to be hot and these were. You should have called them something else. Kind of disappointing.
