This recipe so good the flavors are awesome. I added a little sausage to the onion and garlic. Used extra homeade stock and simmered for 30-40 mins. My family ate a whole pot.. It is the best greens I have ever made.

Wow! Not only is this recipe easier than boiling, the flavor is really good. I am the crock pot queen, but the flavor is so strong yet balanced that I will take the time to cook them on the stove

Thanks Big Daddy! You knock another one out of the park!

What a fantastic recipe! I have made this a few times now. I can't believe how fast it is! I have tried it with bacon added and, of course, EVERYTHING is better with bacon but the recipe is great AS IS! The first time I made it was for a holiday meal and it almost didn't make it to the table...unofficial "taste testers" were hitting it hard. Wow...talking about it is making me want some now. Gotta go!

Either I did not have a "large" bunch of greens or this recipe has'nt really been tested. 1 Tbl. of red pepper flakes had me coughing and fighting for air as I sauteed it with the onions and garlic. I could only take a few bites of this, the rest went in the trash. What I did taste was pretty good besides the overpowering heat of the pepper flakes. I would try this again, however I would not follow the measurements given.

DELICIOUS! Big Daddy has done it again. The greens were really good and it took less that 30 minutes to make. This is a keeper!!!

Thank you Big Daddy for new twist on a traditional family favorite! I used this recipe for my Christmas dinner and it was a huge hit, I had to make it again at New Years. Everyone said this recipe taste better than traditonal boiled recipe. Cooked this way, you can easily get the flavor you want and it is easier to make.

These were yummy! An awesome recipe & a great twist on an old southern favorite. These cook much faster sauteed than my mothers all day boiling method. And I think they had more flavor. The only change I made was I added some ham (only bec'I had it on hand but it would've tasted fine w/out it. THANK YOU BIG DADDY!

This was a new twist to an old southern dish. My family loved the collard greens cooked this way and went back of seconds. I would add about 30 minutes more in the cooking time and I substituted green seasoning for the sugar. I am passing the recipe to other family members.
