    This was a new twist to an old southern dish. My family loved the collard greens cooked this way and went back of seconds. I would add about 30 minutes more in the cooking time and I substituted green seasoning for the sugar. I am passing the recipe to other family members.

    I grew up watching my mother clean & cook greens for hours, so I decided not to cook them at all...Because I missed some good old greens I found Bid Daddy's Recipe outstanding and right on time...I do recommend to simmer them longer will more broth (anykind for better result...I am so happy and excited about this easy, quick, and tasty green..YOU ARE THE BEST..

    I thought they were pretty good! Big Daddy put a new spin on a old dish and I have to say I'm impressed keep up the good work!

    Delicious even with the slight modification I made by adding 1/4-cup of sugar. This recipe is giving my sister recipe a run for her money. The holiday cut-off will be fun with this recipe being judged.
