First time preparing a turkey loaf. Was very surprise with the end result. Moist, favorable, colorful. and easy to prepare. Will keep this recipe, foresee using over and over.

I saw Aaron make this dish and it look so good I felt as though I was eating it alone with him, could taste all the flavors with him. I dying to try it. I'm going to the market now to get the ingredients and make this dish today.

Best meatloaf ever, moist and unique. I'm an accomplished cook, but I've never made meatloaf. Who has 2.5 lbs of ground turkey? I did. I had a 3 lb box of turkey and made 2 stuffed burgers, so this was the perfect amount for me.

I wish I had grits, but I didn't and needed to use things I had, so I put oatmeal soaked in enough milk to cover it, since many say it was too wet. I used spinach and finely chopped zucchini since I was low on spinach, you could use any leafy veggie or combination.

I love spicy food, but I used only 1 chopped green jalapeno - an extra spicy one -- plenty. To use 1/2 cup of red jalapeno, the hottest kind, is a bit insane lol.

Not sure about the pan. The meatloaf seems meant to fill about half the pan width and its full length. Not sure why not make a bit less and just use a meatloaf pan. I covered it with mild chili sauce (Heinz rather than tomato sauce. My homemade organic veggie broth gave it the magic touch as well.

Omitted the chicken stock and still felt the turkey mixture was too loose. It didn't hold shape at all and basically flattened out and filled the entire casserole dish. Next time I'll also reduce the milk to 1/2 cup. Good flavor.

I made this recipe last night... OH MY!!!! it was very good, I shared it with my neighbor, now she wants the recipe too.. I recommended, my whole family enjoy it very much. I just added sundry tomatoes to the filling, my kids are not so crazy about spinach, and the addition actually work!.
Thanks BIG DADDY" I'm definitely going to make more of your recipes. :-

This was by far the BEST meatloaf recipe I've ever tasted. I'm a Southern gal and cook my meatloaf the old fashioned southern way...but this takes the cake, so to speak~ A very healthy recipe that even my "Rhett Butler" husband absolutely loved. Way to go Big Daddy~
