Forget leftovers...I made these for a non-traditional Thanksgiving cocktail party and they were a huge hit! I even left the turkey out of some eggrolls for my vegetarian friends & they loved it too. The cranberry dipping sauce was especially delicious and really balanced out the flavors in the eggrolls.

Okay, this recipe was on his "cocktail" show but really should be the #1 item of the "Top Ten Things to do with Thanksgiving leftovers! " show! Although I did not cook turkey for Thanksgiving (cornish game hens instead but I purchased turkey meat especially for this recipe and combined it with my leftover dressing (used Tyler Florence's "Caramelized Onion and Cornbread Dressing" recipe.. yum btw! This is a perfect example of a "remix" (sorry Neelys eating leftovers while making you feel like you're eating takeout instead!

My only change to the recipe is that I oven fried the egg rolls instead of deep frying them. Don't own a deep fryer and never plan on buying one. (The only item fried in my house is eggs. I wish the Food Network would show alternate cooking approaches instead of deep frying. Too may of l the cooks utilize deep fryers too often for my taste. Oops, another change is that I doubled up on the egg roll wrapper to make sure they didn't tear! Next time I use this recipe, I'll use flavored wrappers such as onion and herbs that I can purchase at my local Asian store!

I have to say this will be my left over recepie for years to come, best receipe i have tried in a while. Everyone should try these eggrolls

Too - too - too good! What a wonderful idea. Easy to make, filling and just plain delicious? Who needs to wait for Thanksgiving? I may never eat a regular egg roll again. Hubby and I are fans forever. Aaron you have out done yourself ? Bravo!

I made a batch of 16 of these thinking we'd have leftovers. Everybody gobbled them down. Back to the kitchen I go to make more!

I am a big fan of Big Daddy, I tried the cranberry dipping sauce. I enjoyed it. The strawberries were a nice surpise. I did not blend them in the blender because I wanted the texture of the berries to remain in tact. The favors are awesome together. The next day the favors were even better. I put some of the sauce on rice cakes which was delicious. I plan on serving the sauce with thanksgiving dinner. Thansk Aaron, keep the cooking coming.

After seeing these, we couldn't wait to try them. We made the dipping sauce with oranges instead of strawberries, and added Chinese hot mustard. They are excellent, a great alternative to the usual turkey leftovers, and attractive enough to serve to guests. Glad that we tried them, sure to make them again. Thanks Big Daddy!

Made these for dinner - made 8 of them and my husband and I had to stop ourselves from eating the remaining 4! I just mixed cranberry sauce and chinese hot mustard for the dipping sauce. So good!!
