Really great upgrade to the usual lesser bars! Inspired me to look at what else I could throw in ... maybe the kitchen sink!

Great recipe. Love the twist on the traditional 7 layer bar. So I did not have any hazelnuts but I used slices almonds instead. Forgot to add the oatmeal. But they were still delish! My friends @ work at ate the whole pan. Sweet but good.

These were sweet and good but not great. They would have been better had there been a nice blond brownie or shortbread base, but the graham cracker "crust" left room for improvement. Also, the texture was just crumbly, -- not chewy or moist for a satisfying texture on my tongue. It tasted like a mix from a big box store.

Made them for a crowd. They were devoured!
Personally, they were too sweet for me - but the crunchy corner I had off of one was really delicious. If you like sickening rich - this is the one for you!

I do not care for Graham crackers, so used more of the vanilla wafers. I also used Heath bar bits for the butterscotch chips. Those chips just taste too fake to me.
I made two HUGE pans. Between the hours of 6:30 pm and 11 pm they were all eaten (by party of 13. Even with a large dinner and birthday cake as well. Gone!
I would suggest cutting them SMALL, they are so rich.

Aaron sweets especially chocolate makes me exhale after each bite. I have not tried this recipe yet but just by viewing the ingredients I found my self exhaling just at the thought of tasting them. Can't wait!!!!
