    I made this for my family on Easter, It didn't go over well. We all thought it had way too much paprika and herb taste which overwhemed the the whole dish. I should have tried it out first before serving it as a side dish on a holiday! Well I will never make that mistake again....

    I've made this recipe several times and it is GREAT! I love the spicy topping. When I have guest who I know can only handle a little heat I back off of some of the spices.

    I am so bummed that is did not work. It tasted like Velveeta and broccoli with really spicy ritz crumbs. I didn't see the 20 people rating or I would have moved on.

    My husband and I enjoyed this casserole for our Easter dinner. It was very easy and delicious. I used camembert cheese for the first time and it was great. I paid $12 for a pound of camembert. I wonder what other cheese might be a good subsititute. It's fun to sneak a couple of ritz crackers before smashing them for the topping. I am planning on making this again and again.

    I have mad this recipe 5 times now and it just keep getting better.I did substitute the cambert cheese with cream cheese and it comes out great.I have prepared broccoli so many ways but this is just off the charts.Keep up the great work and never let anyone steal your joy.

    I made this recipe the other night for company and we ate all of it, my daughter in law went back for seconds and was dissapointed that the dish was empty. My son went so far as to hide it on his plate so she wouldn't steel it. Wonderful will make again and again. Thanks sooooooo much!!!

    I'm not a huge broccoli fan, and my husband likes it less. In fact, I only have it in the house for stir fry and because my oldest loves it. But after finally watching the DVRs from last summer, I decided to give this one a shot. I was impressed - it was amazing! I had second helpings and my husband said I should make it again! Out of 4 kids, 1 loved it, 1 liked it, 1 didn't like the topping (the broccoli lover and 1 didn't like it at all. As for changes I needed to make: instead of Camembert I used half a pound of Jarlsberg and a half pound of Havarti and I used Club crackers instead of Ritz. This is an outstanding dish and it definitely gets put in our keeper file!

    I served this dish to my family as part of our Christmas dinner, and we all agreed that it is the best broccoli and cheese casserole we had ever eaten.
