Big Daddy, this is the easiest and tastiest soup I have ever tasted!! I plan on cooking this on a regular basis. We just do not see enough of you on food network. I wish they put your show on during the week instead of just one day on the weekend. They should give you some of the Neeley's time. I LOVE YOUR FOOD!!!

I tried this last night. It was my FIRST FoodNetwork.com recipe tryout, ever. My husband is a big fan of soup. I read everyone's reviews and adjusted the salt and flour as they suggested. They were absolutely right on the thickness, had I put in a cup or more, the soup would have been way too thick. I increased the beef bouillon by 2Tablespoons and used low sodium salt. The recipe called for 1.5 onions, which I thought was WAY too much, but when I started cooking them, the aroma was wonderfully heady and aromatic! I tried adding the cheese to the pot, but it just disappeared and didn't have the presentation I wanted. So I put the soup in the bread bowls, put more cheese on top (extra sharp cheddar and toasted in the broiler it until the cheese was gooey and bubbly! I made croutons from the bread bowl innards and added them to a salad (much more delicious than store bought-it was my first too. I surprised my husband with this fantastic soup and he RAVED about it! He loved the taste, the uniqueness, and the presentation! I was walking on cloud nine! Who knew I could do more than burn water (I'm a newlywed and just started cooking!!!

I love this recipe, it's easy, quick, and delicious! However I did try different cheeses(not to big on American. I found Provolone to be a good substitute.

Made this for my family , I'm 17, was easy, and DELICIOUS. I followed the recipe for the most part but I added more meat. Turned out great, so creamy and thick, but in a good way. Will do this again. :]

Absolutely one of the easiest soup recipe's I have ever dealt with. I made this for my wife and sister-in-law for dinner. They loved the flavor and thickness of the soup. It even tasted just as good two days later. I look forward to making this recipe again

My boyfriend is from Philly and has recently moved to Seattle to be with me. I made this to give him a little taste of home. He loved it!!!! So did I ! I even added a 1 1/2 green pepper to the recipe and it was a wonderful addition. It was so quick to make and I have leftovers for another day to put in the freezer! Thanks Aaron!!! btw...I only ended up using 1 1/2 cups of flour in the recipe...it was just enough thickness! Thanks Stacia, for the tip!!!

I tried this out last weekend at my girlfrineds luncheon and I was a bit disappointed. The flavor was good, but it was just too thick. The recipe says "2 to 3 cups" of flour for dredging the meat and then it tells you to add the flour to the pot. I thought it was too much, but I wanted to follow the recipe and it turned out too thick. Everyone said it tasted good, but was just too thick. I do plan to make it again, but I will definitely cut down on the flour. I used stew meat instead of tenderloin and I added green bell pepper to the onions for sauteing.

I made this on Halloween for our family and it was WONDERFUL! My 8 year old son devoured it and couldn't stop talking about how creamy it is. It was loved by our whole family and I will make it again and again. I used a package of beef stew meat (or fajita meat. It is even awesome without the cheese....I almost didn't add it for fear it would be too much but am SO glad I did. Hooray for a great hearty meal!

DELICIOUS! 2 teenagers keep asking me to make this. It's easy. I used a rump roast instead of the expensive meat and it turned out great. I've made it two times and it is now a staple! Thanks Big Daddy - your show rocks!
