We were so excited to try this recipe but were disappointed when we tasted it. We couldn?t taste anything but nutmeg. I?m sure it would have tasted wonderful without the nutmeg.

This recipe is great! Melting the cheese and then pouring it over the potatoes results in a very satisfying creamy texture which is delicious! I used to just sprinkle cheese throughout the potatoes which is not as good as this recipe. The chicken bouillion also adds great flavor!!

Ever since Aaron McCargo Jr won the Next Foodnetwork Star, I have been waiting to watch his series spot and try out some of his food. This recipe was not only easy but turned out fabulous. Thanks to his easy directions for making a rue or sauce, I am now experimenting with other sauces where I did not dare before and am not buying prepared sauces any longer. The nutmeg really sets the cheese flavor off in these potatoes and I am a really big fan of cheese, so 3 different kinds was just what I was looking for!! This has become a staple at our house!!

The potatoes were so delicious and decadent. What's not to love about potatoes covered with creamy cheese sauce? I will never be satisfied with any other potatoes au gratin again!

The taste was very good, but the potatoes did not get done. I had to microwave it for 15 minutes on top of baking for 1 hour to get the potatoes not crunchy
