My son watched Aaron make this on Big Daddy's House and wanted to make it. That was it, this is a standard recipe in our house now. WE ALL LOVE IT!!!! I make an extra batch of the brocolli rabe with less crushed red pepper for our grandbabies. But otherwise, this is definitely a keeper. Fantastic!! Yummy!! I buy pork loins now whenever they are on sale just for this recipe.

I only made the broccoli rabe and put it on a roasted turkey sandwich, but it was the best broccoli rabe I have ever made! A tip: I hate when veggies slide around on a sandwich, so I pureed the rabe with a little mayo and then slathered it on the bun before I toasted it.. Amazing!

The sandwich was so delicious.. Being that I am from Southern California it was difficult to find the broccoli rabe.. So I served it with Tomatoes, Jalapenos, and it was yummy...

It was great, but... the greens were entirely too spicy! I will use much less hot pepper flakes next time. There is no way your 2-3 year old liked the heat we had in this dish. The show had your young son eating this with you.

I had the pork loin in the freezer for a month trying to figure out a way to prepare it. I found this recipe and read the other reviews. It is the most moist pork roast I've tasted, and to think I prepared myself!. The recipe was easy. I didn't make sandwiches. I made it the main course with veggies on the side. The meat is super moist plus the seasoning around the edges adds an extra kick! Definitely a keeper!! Thanks Mr. McCargo.

First of all I love your show and pray for your continued success. I purchased a great looking little port roast because it was good looking but I was not sure how I was going tp prepare it. I wasn't worried because I consider myself a Excellent cook. Well, never in a million years have I tasted pork like this. I used it as a main dish instead of the sandwich but the prep was the same. The meat had so much flavor, so moist, so tender, I really almost had tears in my eyes. I wished it were bigger. I saute'd some vadalia onions and used the dripping to make a great gravy and I have never been so pleased with pork. It get so dry but this was outstanding. Thank you, Thank you Thank you

I made roast pork last night and was trying to figure out what type of sandwich I could make with it for lunch today. My friend sent me the link to this sandwich and by luck I had bought broccoli rabe last week. I was a little hesitant about it because I've never put broccoli or broccoli rabe in a sandwich before, but it was delicious. I loved the flavor. I will be making it again for lunch tomorrow.

I'm single and live alone but I wanted to try this recipe. I brought the smallest shoulder I could find in the grocery store. I couldn't believe the flavor and tenderness. I offered my neighbor a sandwich to avoid having to place all the extra pork in the freezer. She asked for some pork to make a sandwich for lunch the next day. It is truly a keeper for one person or a group of people.

I didn't want to pay for pork tenderloin so I bought a 2-lb pork shoulder. I seasoned and seared it like the recipe says, but put it in a crock pot (DO NOT add any liquid to it and cook on low for about 5 or 6 hours. The pork will pull apart very easily when done. I also used the juices as a sort of au jus for the sandwich.
    OH MY GOODNESS! SO GOOD!
