Made the prime rib and horseradish sauce for Christmas 2009 dinner.

I didn't follow the exact spice rub, I left out the coriander and caraway seed and added grill seasoning instead (which probably contains that stuff anyway.

Seared the meat and baked with a thermometer (Williams Somona has an excellent electronic therm. Didn't grill the meat as I thought it was plenty done ..

Just loved it .. so good, so flavorful ... a recipe KEEPER!

I made this for labor day and it was the best prime rib I've ever tasted. I put them on the grill instead of in the oven and it was so tender. The different spices is what made it a hit in my house and it was better the next day. Aaron you rock I really enjoy watching your show.

I've made this twice and my family loves it. Having never made prime rib before, I was scared to make it until I saw Aaron do it so effortlessly and that gave me courage. I will now try more things outside of my comfort zone because the raves are so worth it!

I made this for Easter dinner as well. I have prepared many, many prime rib roasts in the pass but none compared to this. It was so tender that we didn't need knives but we used them anyway. The charring on the outside along with the unusal blend of spices gave it a complexity that was unbelievable. My sister is still raving about this roast. I can't wait to make it again. Don't pass on the horseradish sauce. It is also to die for. I used bottled horseradish instead of fresh and it was still wonderful.

I made this for Easter Sunday dinner. I was a bit scared to buy such an expensive cut of meat, but decided to give it a try. THIS WAS AMAZING!!! Everyone at the table just loved it!!! I used the McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning to save some time and money. It was still amazing! Thanks Aaron!!!
