OMG these ribs are the best! I have never been able to say I do ribs right even though I have been cooking for 40 plus years. I tried these and we loved them. Thanks so much Aaron

These are the best ribs ever! Pure genius to cook in cola. They fall off of the bone! I did not even have to put them on the grill.

After reading the comments I was really expecting something great but was not impressed. I followed the directions to the letter. I even had to go to the store because there were 3 items that I did not have on hand. I tasted the rub after mixing it and thought "man this is going to be good'. Of course I had to also take a taste after they came out of the oven the first time and they were good but a little spicy for my taste. I was hoping that the cider mixture would help. So another little bite after they came off the grill and they were real good. For me, I think this is where I should have stopped but I continued to follow the receipt. The second coating of rub I thought was a little too much and brought all the heat that was in the rub back to the top of the ribs. I really did not care for the carmelization. Being from the South (West - TN I have had some really great ribs but can't seem to come across a person willing to share how they are prepared so I keep trying different receipts. I prefer my ribs with a small bit of dry rub. I may try part of this one again and temper the heat of the rub to my taste. I do agree that you do not need any sauce using this rub but you better like it spicy.

I've always used barque sauces but after trying this rub I am a convert to dry rubs. We've used this recipe many times and everyone still asked for ribs with Big Daddy's rib rub.

This is the fastest and easiest rub ever. It tastes amazing on ribs and chicken. I made it for the first time two weeks ago and I'm getting ready to make a second batch. It made my ribs taste like they had barbecue sauce on it with out having a drop. My ribs are on of my most requested dishes at gatherings and this will be my new secret behind the dish. It takes them to a whole new level and I can't wait to share them. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

I was concerned about the lack of bbq sauce but i was mistaken. These were so good! yum. I cut down on the cumin because it can sometimes overpower. Do the apple cider buttermlk dipping sauce. I was nervous but it was so good.

I thought my own rib rub was good. I tried this for something different. This is why he has the tv show!

I love this rub! Since the first time I tasted the ribs,I had to keep making it. Not only do I use this rub on ribs but people love it on wings. I get tons of compliments every time I make this. The only problem is the dip. I rarely use it, and its difficult to find apple cider where I live. But once again the best rub ever!

This has become one of the family's favorite recipes! My 17 year son shouts: "You go, AARON MCCARGO!" You cannot go wrong with this recipe. The little's one's even love the ribs! I've tried others and I keep coming back to Aaron's. My husband states, "leave well enough alone!" Go Aaron!
