Good and simple recipe. I cooked mine on a buttered skillet, next time I will cook them over low heat instead of medium heat to enable the filling to heat all the way through before browing too much on the outside.

I tried using the cherry filling with, just Texas toast. I cooked these on a panini grill. The taste was not what I expected. Waste of 6 good eggs! I wont try these again. However I love your work!! Bigg D:-

Great recipe. I filled mine with sweetened cream cheese and topped with fresh berries. I also used an old foreman grill that had been out of use for a while. I will be using it for all future french toasts. Great recipie I will make again!!

This french toast is excellent! I made it this morning and I can't wait to make it again. I used a loaf of Texas Toast and used milk in the egg mixture because I didn't have cream and it turned out fabulous and was a hit with my family. My kids want me to try bananas next time! Thanks Aaron, this is the second recipe I've tried of yours! You're two for two!!!

I like to fill mine with a cream cheese mixture (3 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon of sour cream. Better than what you get at a restaurant!
