This simple, but flavorful recipe for carne asada tacos has become a staple in our home. To prepare the steak couldn't be easier, but the flavor is outstanding. I slice the jalapenos in order to more evenly distribute their flavor over the meat's surface. The method for heating the tortillas gives them a crisp-tender texture and really brings out the flavor of the tortillas. We like to use the thickest corn tortillas available; homemade from a Mexican deli-market rather than doubling the tortillas per the traditional recipe.
