    These brownies were amazing!
I added more chili powder and still didn't taste it very much, but the kick of cinnamon was really good. The brownies were very fudgey... not a bad thing, just annoying when I was trying to cut them.
All together these were amazing, and I got tons of compliments (especially about the cinnamon

Made one batch as specified and one with an All Purpose Gluten Free flour blend and 3 times the cayenne. Was a big Cinco de Mayo hit!

I've made this several times now and swear I won't bother with any other brownie recipe. I use Ancho chile powder - usually double the amount in the recipe (depending on who I'm making them for and Ghirardelli cocoa powder (you can order directly from them on line. I ordered 2 at a time so saved some on shipping. It's WONDERFUL!. I also add a couple handfuls of chocolate chips to the batter. Don't forget the whipped cream - I use about twice as much with GOOD quality cinnamon. People go nuts over these brownies!!!

The great thing about this recipe is you don't have to change a thing!
I am so glad Chef Sanchez gave out this recipe. You just want to close your eyes and tast the flavors as you chew. My husband loves these brownies. He said this is a keeper recipe! I get maybe 2 pices he loves them so much!

First time making brownies that were not from a box and they were fantastic. The whole family enjoyed them. My daughter took some to school and her classmates enjoyed them as well. Gracias Aaron por la receta!

I needed to whip up a dessert to take to a potluck with some "foodie" friends. I chose this recipe because 1 minimal ingrediants (I had everything 2 everything was mixed in one pot (easy clean up 3 not a traditional brownie (spices. The brownies were super easy to make. And they were a hit with the crowd. They were crispy on the outside and fudgy on the inside. Also, the cayenne isn't really noticable when chewing, it's all chocolate and cinnamon, but there is a trace of warmth at the end. I would definitely make these again.
