Let me tell you a HUGE crowd pleaser!!!! Has made it to the football sunday menus and other events. My mother was scraping the filling when filling the peppers. My Dad who is not a huge jalapeno fan, ate the most. I used thick sliced bacon and oh man! Huge flavor!!! I ended up with 3 sheet pans of the cheesy spicy smoky oodles of goodness. Thanks Aarti! Will b checking for more recipes.

I made these for my superbowl party, they were GREAT! I had more jalapeno's then the recipe called for, so I added 4oz. Queso Fresco to the cream cheese, will make this again and again.

These were awesome -- the apple just popped with the bacon and other flavors -- elevated the popper to a whole new level!! Thanks, Aarti -- I love watching your show and love your exotic twists on old favorites!

Just made these for a super bowl party, everybody loved them. I purchased precooked bacon from Costco & cut one strip in half & just wrapped it around the jalapeno w/ no toothpick with the bottom ends on the bottom of the cookie sheet, it worked out great. Also cooked them the recommened amount of time

    What a delicious filling.

I forgot to secure my bacon with toothpicks! What an idiot. So my bacon was a little misplaced, haha. But so, so good, like always with Aarti. She's the bestest.

Great combination of ingredients, but I am in Texas so we would traditionally have to dial down the healthy aspects of jalapenos. I added a layer of sliced, fresh tortilla outside the bacon. Adds crunch and maybe only 5 calories each.

superpancake: Take the extra filler, roll with enchilada sauce into tortillas, drown in more enchilada sauce, add Roundy's shredded cheese on top, and bake.

Oh my God, what a fantastic appetizer. I was having a small gathering and I didn't make all 20 jalapenos, so I have some extra cream cheese mixture left over. Do you guys have an ideas of how else I could use the extra scallion/apple cream cheese??
