These are wonderful! I made them last night for a party today and just reheated them in the oven before the party - yum. Make sure to add enough salt, even with the salt of the bacon, the filling really does need it. I used some jalapenos that I had frozen and they turned out well (just make sure to press them dry after you've thawed and cleaned them and they weren't really very spicy at all. I also used red/yellow/orange mini sweet peppers for those that don't like jalapenos, and they're wonderful, too - perfect for those who don't like jalapenos. Like some of the other reviewers, I also had to cook for 45 minutes to crisp up the bacon, but it really depends on the thickness of your cut. Thanks for a fun recipe!

Amazing combination of flavors! My husband and I LOVE these. I used applewood smoked bacon and plenty of salt and pepper in the mixture - they are delicious!!

I'd add a little more apple as I didn't feel like I could taste any. There was plenty of onion, the jalapenos totally mellow out so it's just a hint of kick, and the bacon is just awe-some. This is a winner of a recipe!!

I made these 2 times back to back thinking I had not put enough apple in it the first time. While they are ok they seem to lack some sort of kick.

What a delicious recipe. I'm a fan of jalapeno, but not my partner. She used jalapeno for me and a yellow bell pepper for herself. I find it work both ways!

My husband asked for these, and I jumped at the chance as a way to introduce him to Aarti's food (he is not a fan of Indian food in general. The apple was such a nice twist on the classic. I love Aarti!!!!

Made these after the show aired. Very Good, and just in time for the game. I'll be making them for my SuperBowl guests! Cooking them for 45 min, mellows the jalopeno flavor and the bacon gets nice and crisp. Delish!
