These were so tasty! The chutney on the samosas was a perfect pairing and we've used the mint chutney on other things too. YUM.

My puff pasty got WAY too puffy but the filling was delicious. I ate the left over filing on its own. The mango was a really lovely sweetness that balanced out the super hot chipotle.

They were tasty...and a good shortcut. For the person who used Phylo pastry...Aarti said "Puff" Pastry. It will not work with Phyllo!

I was so disappointed. The filling was too mushy and there was no mango flavor and the chutney smelled like wet grass. It never got smooth and dipable. I watched this episode so I knew what to do and expect and mine looked like hers but I won't make them again.

One of the worst samosa recipes. I make samosas all the time - using puff pastry or wanton wrappers or from scratch with flour dough. Phyllo sheets are just not for samosas. I regretted for wasting my time on this.

I have never made Samosas, and this was an excellent recipe to use as an outline. I merged it with a Wolfgang Puck recipe and used peas & potatoes. Aarti is super cute, I like watching her. Her name reminds me of Atari, which I like.

Loved these! Too spicy filling= perfect samosas. If you try to make the dough, do what she says and actually let it sit for awhile. These also freeze, so we still have some left! Mmmmm:

The recipe was a good shortcut for a samosa but the filling was sooooooo wrong. Instead of boiling the chicken with the spices;i lightly fried it with onions, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, chilli powder and coriander powder. then mixed it with the boiled potatoes and fresh coriander.

I thought this was delicious, although I only used 3 tbsp chipotle sauce, and it still had quite a kick. My only complaint is that I had way more filling than I could fit into the puff pastry. I just served the leftovers over rice a few nights later and they were great that way, too. Next time, I think I will save myself some work and spread the filling in a casserole dish, lay the puff pastry on top and have a samosa-pot-pie with a lot less work. But thanks, Aarti! We really enjoyed the flavors.
