Hats off to Aarti !!!! Delicious !!! My 13 year old daughter Rhea cooked this recipe after watching the show...my wife assisted her of course. The baked somosas was so fresh tasting and flavorful with just the right bite. Topped with or should I say covered with the chutney was the icing on the cake.
Congrats to Aarti for winning the tough challenge...we, our whole family was pulling for you to win.

I also concur with Nevermind and The Kafir....her recipes have just failed. The Spice Goddess has a much better Samosa recipe. This is the third and final one we have tried. The hot dog one was VILE. Where do these reviews come from? Surely not from someone who actually tried to prepare it. People shouldnt post a review that it "looks "good. Try it then comment.

Loved your recipe, Aarti! Cooked it twice. Why wasn't your show on TV this Sunday. Missed your show!

People are just reviewing without any sensible statements.
Mango is cooling, spices or not? Wow, first time I am reading that!
Ayurveda considers mango to have heating properties and energizing.

The recipe idea is not original. Baked samosas have been around for years now, in health-conscious circles. So has the idea of using puff-pastry for that. What was unpalatable was the filling that Aarti 'invented'.

I appreciate the way the mango cools down the spicey ingredients.

I am vegetarian. This could have easily been made the vegetable samosa type, with an Aarti twist. The mango was totally out of place in this!

My daughter was home today sick and we watched Aarty Party making Samosas; we checked which ingredients we had in our kitchen and got busy. The samosas came out delicious with Tuna Fish, added ginger since Arti uses ginger in many of her dishes! my 10 year old son loved it as snack and wants to take it to school tomorrow! Will make it again.

This was great - however...
I cut the chipotle in half - good enough for a crowd
I tried the homemade crust, finding that you really need to make 4 times the batch to yield
I did the recipe a second time using the puff pastry - great substitution
I also made it vegetarian using soy nuggets, came out wonderful
