Easy, tasty, full of flavors!! I grilled my pork chops on our Big Green Egg grill for extra smokey goodness!! Also I bought 2 pounds of chops, since there was plenty of marinade. Looking forward to awesome leftovers!!!

This recipe is so awesome. The marinade is like gold. I actually didn't have pork and used lamb instead. It is just about the best lamb I have had. This marinade is good with chicken too.
Aarti, I can't thank you enough. I love your recipes! The Agua Fresca is also amazing. It is my new summer drink!

All I can say is "Wow"! It's full of flavor, easy to make and our family's new favorite recipe. My only negative comment is that the amount of carrot seems excessive (4 cups for 4 wraps? and I had a lot left over.

These were amazing!!!!! The combination of flavors was super. The meat was so spicy but the fresh carrots, cucumber and cilantro cooled it down perfectly. I cannot wait to make this again. Another fabulous recipe from Aarti. Way to go girl!

Awesome! I too wanted to try banh-mi since the Great Food Truck Race and this was delish! EVERYTHING I've made from Aarti has been just wonderful! So glad she is back on with new episodes - we missed her at my house!

This was crazy good. I have a feeling I'll be making this again and again this summer. It's nice to have something different to do on the grill during the summer. And the cucumbers and carrots are so refreshing and wonderful! I actually had some dough in the fridge from my Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day book and made up some small whole wheat hoagie shaped rolls to make the sandwiches on. They were sort of flat dense rolls. Perfect for this sandwich. Another great recipe from Aarti!

This is my first bahn-mi style sandwich. I have been wanting one since the great food truck race. It was everything I wanted and more! Creamy mayo, crunchy sweet carrots, cool crisp cucumbers, and intense salty pork all rounded out by mint, cilantro, and a fresh squeeze of lime. It was perfect in the wrap style, letting the flavors come together without being muted by a bunch of bread. Aarti's food is so exciting and easy--the perfect combo for someone who has been cooking for years and needs something new to WOW them. Keep them coming!!

I will make this again, and again. It's very easy, and the flavors are wonderful. I just used fresh parsley (instead of cilantro and mint because that is what I had in my garden. And, I used regular cues (again, had them in my garden I just scooped the seeds out to remove excess water. My husband thought these were excellent! And, the marinade is so delicious. I am going to use it on chicken or fish the next time I grill. Way to go, Aarti!!

Never heard of, or had tasted, banh-mi before seeing this show. Made it exactly as written and it was truly a flavor explosion in your mouth. Will make again. Great summer recipe.

I love the twist on an original bahn mi, but I wasn't in love with the pork seasoning/marinade on this. I also found the carrots too sweet and not sour enough, so I will cut down on the sugar next time. Over all we really liked this - but it needs some tweaking for our house.
