Loved the recipe but I skipped the raisins and the chilli chopped since my kids can't tolerate it yet. I felt it was too runny so I boiled it for another 10 mins at the end and it was perfect.

this recipe is easy, i had most of the ingredients on hand and it was delicious! even my picky 4 year old loved it. the only thing i would think about changing would be to use coconut milk instead of half and half next time, (and there will be a next time and i will be doubling the recipe! thanks!!!

Whoa -- not a keeper. It's just a jumble of odd flavors that are definitely not sloppy joes. Great aroma, but final product, following recipe exactly, is not something I will repeat.

SOOO TASTY! tried this because I was in a food rut and wanted something a little different... this did the trick! I'm not the savviest cook, but I made this for me and my fiance and it blew his socks off. It was easy, not too prep intensive, a great weeknight meal. I will be trying more of Aarti's recipes soon, they are the perfect way to shake things up without stressing yourself out on a weeknight.

This was awesome. I didn't really know what to expect, but was looking for something unique but not overly time consuming to make for a last minute dinner guest. It was a hit (which is saying something because this guest is a foodie! The ground turkey ended up being very flavorful. And yes, there are a few steps involved, but it’s very easy. If you want it to be spicy, I would add a bit more serrano pepper than the recipe recommends. I will definitely make this again!

This is such a great twist on the Sloppy Joe. My family loved it.
Goes great with sweet potato fries.

This recipe was an overkill of richness. On the one hand I loved the fact that I never knew by taste I was eating ground turkey. I loved the seasonings and the way it made the kitchen smell. However these are definitly an open face sandwich as their is so much liqued and that's before you add the 1/4 cup of cream which was totally unnecessary and almost made this too rich to eat. having said that this was too good to put on something as simple as a hamburger bun or call it a sloppy joe. Will be taking the same ingredients and making a "Bombay" meatloaf next time. Btw Garam Masalla isn't available anywhere near here but was able to make it from Guy Fieri's recipe. So yes def. make this, leave out the cream and expect to eat it with a fork and knife:

These are honestly just fabulous. Only thing I don't do is add the raisins, because none of us can stand raisins. The pistachios give it a wonderful crunchy, something-something. My son is not fond of Indian flavors yet, but loves this.
