Such a yummy dish! It looked so good I made it even though I was missing some ingredients, and it still was great! I had beef instead and didn't put in the nuts or raisins since I knew my kids don't like those things (although, I would love to try it with them! and it still turned out great! Yummy flavors and it wasn't spicy at all. I thought it was a little runny so I'll watch that next time, but it was so good!! Thanks, Aarti! We love you! My kids always ask now, "Is this Aarti's recipe?" (o:

Excellent, mild Indian flavor, interesting when biting into the finshed product. We loved it, and we love Artie. Have watched her through out the competition, very natural on TV. And as we were hopeing, her receipes have not failed us. Try this one, you will been hooked like we are!

Dee Suggs (moron next time I need some information from someone who knows nothing I'll give you a call. I read the reviews all the time but Dee Suggs made me have to sign up... she (im guessing only has one review. What's the deal? I tried this and it was great thanks Aarti! I did salt the turkey and dry on paper towels before cooking. I think Dee Suggs has some kind of vendetta to mar Aarti's rep. So just a word of advice... if you know something speak up and if you don't STFU!

This is a reply to Dee from Greensboro, NC.....You should not be rating something that you have not tired or bothered to even attempt to make. I have made these and they are DEE-LICH and I look forward to serving these at my party this weekend. The heat was perfect was perfect and danced around on my tongue and warmed my tummy. My partner who doesn't ever really eat spicy food even found this dish to be very enjoyable. So to Aarti, I take my party hat off to you. Thanks for an awesome dish that I actually made and just didn't go by what others had to say. Smooches from Chey in Chicago.

I think this was a time consuming recipe to make on a week night. If I did I would use pre chopped onions and jared ginger and garlic to save time. The flavor was very good. I too thought that it was a little runny and made the bread soggy. I would add less water or none. My family did not think it was too spicy hot. I thought it was a very good dish and I will make it again.

YUMMMMMMMY!!!!! Only sorry I didn't double recipe, but it was the 1st time I was making it. I am definitely going to double next time so we can freeze.
Couple of opinions. It was a little oily for my taste. In future, i'll cut down on vegetable oil for cooking. Also omitted honey and 1/2-1/2. I thought it was sweet enough w/the raisons, and adding milk seemed wierd here. Just my 2p. But seriously, how many times is a new recipe a homerun w/very little modifications? Go Aarti! Show us more stuff!!!

This recipe is DELICIOUS. It's the first time I've tried making anything remotely Indian, and it turned out very well. Also, I was nervous about the serrano chili (I'm a spice wuss, but it added just the right amount of heat that wasn't too spicy. I do agree with the previous reviewer about sogginess...I added a can of kidney beans to the leftovers and it made a yummy twist on chili. Nice job, Aarti!
