Made this for dinner as a side to Aarti's Bombay Sloppy Joes, and it was a huge hit -- everyone went back for 2nds, and several people put the slaw on top of the sloppy joes, and now want them that way all the time.

Made almost exactly as written -- per other reviews, I cut the ginger-garlic paste in half, and used 2% Greek yogurt, because my health conscience just wouldn't let me buy whole milk yogurt. :-

I've been informed that I'll be making this dinner again -- and often. A big hit with my family.

What a great change up on cold slaw salad. The dressing makes the salad. Refreshing and tasty. Thanks Aarti for a great recipe.

DELICIOUS! After watching this episode yesterday I was off to the store to get the items needed to make this meal. The salad was awesome. Savory with a hint of sweet from craisins and a nice nutty surprise from the almonds. BTW, if you don't want to invest in some of the more expensive spices, you can usually buy in bulk at your local natural food store. Enjoy!

Very tasty, nice crunchy slaw. I found the dressing very thick & hard to get it to mix into the slaw, so I had to thin it out with some olive oil. I didn't have any dill, so I couldn't add this & I swapped almonds for walnuts. My husband & I enjoyed it.

this recipe has become a staple in our house. i make it at least once a week. a great way to use the entire head of broccoli without any waste! use the florets one night, wash the stalk, peel the outer most skin, cut into chunks and toss in a food processor with the grating blade.... no need to buy the broccoli slaw mix! (i use half the amount of garlic and ginger because i find it is too strong when it's raw.

I made this last night exactly the way the recipe is written. It was very good, though we thought that the ginger-garlic paste was VERY strong. Next time I'll try using half of what is called for.

Btw, grating frozen ginger makes for a wonderful smooth paste.
