We took the liberty of substituting some ingredients in this recipe, using Craisins in place of the cranberries and parsley in place of the cilantro. The result was really quite good and this recipe has now become part of our "go to" summer salad favorites.
Thanks, Aarti, for sharing this with us.
P.S. We intend to try it using green cabbage next time and, perhaps, asparagus at some point in the future.

I love this and is somewhat healthy. The garlic-ginger paste is such a great idea. I love it. If you are fighting off a cold or flu, I would highly recommend it because of the medicinal properties of the ginger and garlic! And quite tastey! Yum, yum!

Fantastic! I have made this recipe twice within three days...that's how much my family loved it! (If you don't have fresh dill, dried worked well too. We loved the cranberries, so I doubled it for the second batch and added left over rotisserie chicken. That turned it into a complete meal! The pop of garlic with the cilantro and dill is such a flavorful surprise! This slaw recipe will be part of my permanent collection. Thank-you Aarti!!!

First time I used broccoli slaw mixture - a crunchy raw vegetable blend, but was disappointed in overall flavor. Expected more vibrant flavors given the ingredients.

I made this with Aarti's Beef Brisket and it was a perfect pairing. The boys in the house preferred a slaw with a little more heat in it (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but the flavor is one to savor with the brisket. Great job Aarti!

I was skeptical, but this was delicious. Even my husband who's not a broccoli fan liked this. Thank you Aarti

I loved this slaw! I made this exactly as the recipe stated and it was delicious! I served it with the Beef Vindaloo and Raitas and the whole meal was fantastic. My husband said it was so good he wanted to cry! The leftovers the next day was just as good. This recipe is a keeper!

I thought this was delicious. I really enjoyed the use of broccoli, that is one of the only ways my husband will eat it. The cranberries and almonds were such a nice addition.

Excellent salad! Truly wonderful blend of tastes and textures. My little kids gobbled it up and wanted more!
