My husband and I bought some delicious aloo gobi at our local farmers market. We decided to try to make it ourselves and found Aarti's recipe. It was even more delicious than what we had purchased. Yesterday I sauted a dash of cumin seeds and a dash of fennel seeds in butter, added basmati rice and stirred, then boiled the rice. It was a perfect accompaniment to the aloo gobi. We do use 3 serranos because we love the heat. Yum!!

Delicious! I doubled the recipe and we still didn't have much in the way of leftovers. The only thing I changed was adding 3 serrano peppers instead of one--it was spicy but we love very spicy food. Will definitely be making this again.

This recipe was delicious. Though I'd prefer it to be a little more spicy next time I will definitely add more serranos. Certainly a keeper. It is not hard at all to make once you understand the instructions.

I took this to my mother's house for a family dinner. All 6 adults enjoyed it and the spices were different than were use to. My family lets me know if they don't think it is a keeper.
My mother really liked it and everyone thought it was a keeper. Thank you for your
show and recipes. Where has the Aarti Party program been the last month. I miss it.

Amazing flavor and very harty with the potatoes. The only change I made was I used alot more paste than called for I couldnt get all the veggies covered with 2 tablespoons and I added coconut milk to mellow out the heat.

Very tasty, I replaced the serrano chili for a Jalapeno seedless for less heat.
