This could have been a little spicier for my husband and I (and we might add some cayenne or something next time, but the spice level was great for my picky one year old who actually loved this dish! So this was a winner in our book.

Very good dish with unusual spices and flavors. Worthy of repeating.

I made this with a slight twist - I roasted the potato pieces & cauliflower pieces in the oven until cooked & then added them to the wet masala mix in a saucepan & simmered for 5 to 7 mins. Yum! I love the added flavor that roasting the veggies gives this dish.

Yes, this was seriously good, like almost everything of Aarti's that I've tried.

Absolutely delicious! Restaurant quality Indian meal! Very simple to make. I just added a bit more liquid to the cooking process. Reheated beautifully. Thanks, Aarti! You seriously make traditional Indian food easy to make!

This was so simple, and yet so impressive! The only problem I had, and this was all me, is that I let it cook too long, so it was a little mushy. I made this along with the Chicken Tikka from the same episode, so I had a lot going on in the kitchen, and just didn't coordinate my cooking times correctly! I think I might also add in carrots and/or fresh peas next time for a little more color.

Awesome, super easy to make! I make 2 versions of this dish; the exact recipe (that I LOVE and the Americanized version that my mother will actually eat (not an adventurous pallet. For that variation... I use sweet potato, leeks, mushrooms and red bell pepper. I also leave out the Serrano pepper and substitute mustard powder for the turmeric. Overall this makes the recipe feel more like a Mediterranean dish.
