Great, super easy... but it takes longer and a regular cup of tea. I've also added vanilla bean to the spices and really liked the outcome.

Only makes two servings in our house, but is a fantastic recipe! Thank you Aarti--we make this often.

Thank you Aarti!!... for giving me this fabulous recipe!! I love this Chai.
Ever since the first time I made it, it's become a daily ceremony in my family to drink Chai.
    Wonderful!

This was not good at all. It barely had any flavor and was extremely sweet. I love all of Aarti's recipes, but this one just wasn't good. I would suggest adding more spices and steeping it longer, and adding less honey. It needs to be stronger and less sweet.
Does anyone know of a good strong chai recipe?

I'd like to think I am a chai expert and make many variations myself. Even though I was born in the US, I grew up drinking chai. This one is pretty good, but I prefer the spices ground for intensity and to use raw, unrefined sugar instead of honey. Traditionally, people don't step their tea for 15 minutes or so, because it's like coffee. You just want to drink it right away. However, steeping does increase flavor and is much more enjoyable. I also prefer to use a high quality black tea leaves. I've recently made a Pumpkin Chai. Recipe: http://clubdinein.wordpress.com/2010/11/10/a-perfect-cup-of-pumpkin-chai/

I think it is a pretty simple recipe and pretty tasty. I swapped soy milk for regular milk and it turned out quite well. Per her direction on the show, I backed off on the honey to my taste as I do not like my tea very sweet. Overall, easy to do. I made a pot full and plan to enjoy it all day.

I agree that there are hundreds of chai recipes.
This one was just awful. Too sweet.
