Followed the recipe to the letter and it was AMAZING! My husband and I both loved it. It was super easy to make and the results make you feel like a proper chef. I highly recommend this recipe to anyone. Thanks Aarti!

This is the best! I used chicken breast and plain, nonfat Greek yogurt and subbed yogurt for the cream as well. I was afraid it might "break" but it didn't. I only used the seeds of half a Serrano but next time I'll add seeds of one whole chili - we like spicy food. I also decreased the butter to 1 T and didn't notice any difference. We live in manhattan and used to order out a lot but it's so expensive. This recipe is better and (I'm sure a bit healthier. I also made the naan by Aarti as well- super tasty!

This was my first attempt at Indian food and this recipe is amazing. My husband, who commented during the cooking of this dinner that we would never make it again due to the mess we made of the kitchen, couldn't quit raving about the finished product. I only used one seeded serrano pepper since the kids are sensitive to spice (perfect for them. We grilled 1 1/3 lbs of chicken for the 4 of us and would have loved to have had more for leftovers. There was plenty of sauce to handle closer to 2 lbs of chicken. The chicken was very hard to grill in chunk form, so we will try to leave it whole next time and cut before adding to the sauce. I will also make the sauce early in the day, puree and refrigerate. We are always pressed for time in the evening, so this would allow me to finish dinner in a reasonable amount of time. Be aware that this recipe is a bit time consuming, but so worth it.

This tasted very authentic. I added some garam masala to the marinade, also the one serrano chile seeded was still a little to spicy for the kids. I bought some naan from a local Indian store and next time I will add fresh curry leaves!

It tastes amazing! The only thing is the chicken is not tender enough. I wonder if I can replace the chicken with shrimp or tofu? Or this can only go with chicken? May experiment next time.

Great flavor and soooo easy to make! My husband loved it, I will definetly will use this recipe to teach my students, it is great to introduce people to indian food because the spices are perfect. I used one jalapeno instead for less heat and was perfect. Thanks Aarti for your great recipes, I loved from the first day on The Next Food Network Star. Congratulations!

I absolutely love this recipe! There will be no need for me to go to our local Indian restaurants, it is restaurant quality! I also love the garlic ginger paste, it is something I already have in mind for another recipe. I will definitely print more of Aarti's recipes. :

    Excellent Recipe.
Followed it to the letter and was "VERY" satisfied with the results. The seasonings were well balanced with just the right amount of heat. This has definitely been saved to my thumb drive with all of our other special recipes. Can't wait to make and serve this for company!!
