AB FAB, Aarti! This tasted just like something I could get at my local Indian restaurant, which is the best of many that I have patronized! I love the complexity of the flavors and the simplicity of making the paste in the food processor. Kudos to you!

Loved this recipe - based on reviews, I added a little extra garam masala and thought it was perfectly spiced. I thought the recipe had complex flavors that tasted like they took a long time to develop, despite a quick prep time - just the way I like it! This recipe is also nice because it is not at all spicy, so it's a perfect curry for those who like the flavors but don't enjoy the spice of many curries. Of course, if you prefer a spicy curry, you could add some chilis at some point along the way.

This is the first Aarti Party's dish that didn't make the cut. It lacked the flavors that I have come to love about your recipe's. To selvage the dish, I needed to add more yogurt and water also added some tomato paste to round out the flavors. Sorry Aarti, i won't be making this again.

This recipe rounded out my Christmas dinner this year. It didn't have the punch of flavor that I expected it to, but I think my garam masala was a bit old and probably not as potent as a new bottle. I found the ingredient proportions to be just right unlike many other reviewers. I would definately make this side dish again especially if I had a main dish that was a bit spicy.

Aarti, you continue to inspire me and encourage me to cook outside my own boundaries. I never thought I could make such intersting and delicious food, use spices I never dreamed of buying, and be eager to try the next recipe! your saag paneer made me feel like a rockstar and this made me feel like a vegetarian hero! Keep up the fabulous work and I can't wait to see what you do next. I'm also trying out the butternut summer stew this week...very excited!
