Great recipe. Thanks Aarti! My 16 year old daughter loves this pie. Crystallized ginger is always in my pantry thanks to you!

This is my go-to chocolate pie recipe. It is so delicious! I leave out the candied ginger because I can't find it in my store.

The reason I gave this recipe a five out of five is because it is an amazing dish it is so delicious but the only thing I would chnge if you really love chocolate like I do I added instead of just five ounces of chocolate I used eight onces of chocolate. All in all a very delicious recipe.

I adore this recipe Aarti. I am vegan so I did do some substitutions. I used creamy almond milk instead of dairy and no eggs. But it turned out so freakin' good! Thank you so much Aarti.
A group of local vegans get together for a weekly dinner, this one was pot luck. So I made the "Come'ere Puddin' Pie" recipe and brought along two pies, they all raved about them! Thank you once again.

Scrumptious! The ginger gives it a wonderful warm flavor but the trick is to chop it as finely as possible. My only changes were 2% milk because that's what we buy, and Trader Joe's Cat Cookies in chocolate and ginger flavors because I think chocolate wafer cookies are ridiculously overpriced. The TJ cookies are small (animal cracker sized so I used 40 of each. I think the recipe calls for just a bit too much butter for the ratio of cookie crumbs, so next time I will cut back by a tablespoon or two.

I love this pie! I've used 1 percent milk and about a half cup of whipping cream instead to make it a little lighter. I've also just used oreos instead of ginger snaps because I didn't have any and it's like chocolate heaven!

Soo good. Decadently rich & very simple to make. I've made it a couple of times for family dinners & potlucks at work. It's always a crowd pleaser.

I love making this pie....I've made at least one every week since I found the recipe. I learned over the holiday's if you just add a few chocolate mints (just a small bit it adds more of a kick. My favorite chocolate to use over all has been Cadsburry and i also add a bit of cinnamon to my crust!!!!! It's hard to screw this one up!
